Now this dude is a piece of work to put it mildly

Actress Lindsay Lohan’s father was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence say police in Tampa, Florida this Tuesday.

Monday evening, police responded to a domestic violence call at Michael Lohan’s home, authorities said in a statement. “Upon arrival, Mr. Lohan was arrested for battery on his live-in girlfriend”.

When taken into custody, Lohan complained of chest pains and was taken to a hospital to be checked, police said. “A short time later, Mr. Lohan checked himself out and was placed under arrest.”

You talk about an academy award performance. Lindsay’s “father”, if that’s what you want to call him, is a parasite and a disgrace to his family and manhood.

 Definition of FATHER IMAGE: an idealization of one’s father often projected onto someone to look up to for guidance and protection.  He sure doesn’t even get close.

This is what Lindsay probably was looking for as a child in her father, a little sign of love and affection. The problem was Mikie is too self-centered and interested in that bag of gold Lindsey was carrying around at one time.  Maybe a hug once and awhile would have helped.

What does parenthood supposedly represent?  A teacher of how to set good examples, shows children how to love one another, respect others, discipline ourselves, and teach your kids to be good role models by us doing the same.  One of the most important things to remember in parenthood is, “be a good parent first and then a friend later”.

When my kids were growing up I told them “I don’t care if you hate me”. If I saw something that they were doing out of line it was my responsibility as your father to address the issue head on. I never had to repeat anything twice and never put a glove on them. No time outs in the corner. Consistency is the name of the game. The road isn’t always an easy on as a good parent tries to guide their kids down the right path. Most of the time their hard work hopefully pays off.

One of the things to be very vigilant of is the crowd your kids hang around with when they are becoming teenagers. All of your hard work you put into raising them can go down the tubes overnight if they get tied up with the wrong people. If you smell a rat there probably is one.

Suffer with them a little now and reap the benefits of your hard work later. Peer pressure is horrible.

I am not trying to give Lindsay or any other person her age that is on the wrong track a pass on their bad behavior. At some point in a person’s life they have to start taking responsibility for their own actions. This is something that Lindsay has not been able to put together.

The best thing these “paid off” judges in her cases should have done was to put her in the cross bar hotel for a couple of years with counseling. “Go stand in the corner – go stand in the corner – I am giving you a time out”. That does not work and it has been proven. Without treatment, it is a known fact that prisoners come out of the “slams” worse than when they went in.

Update:  Mikey Baby did it again.

After getting a restraining order from the judge for Mick to stay away from his girlfriend, Mikey thought that nookie was too good and he could not resist tip toeing through the tulips.

When the cops came to arrest him at his fair maiden’s apartment, Mikey thought he was superman and took a dive off the third floor balcony. On the way down one of the spectators did some lip reading and saw Mikey saying “WFT did I just do”?

He ended up in sick bay with a broken ankle. After the “saw bones” fixed him up the mounted police came and threw Superman in the slammer. He ran out of Kryptonite and could not bend the bars to get out.

When is this saga ever going to end in that family?  Not good.
