CNN: THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – Tiger Woods won his first golf tournament in more than two years Sunday at the Chevron World Challenge.
The former world No. 1 claimed victory in the unofficial 18-man event by one shot over compatriot Zach Johnson after closing with back-to-back birdies for a final round 69 and a 10-under total.
Johnson hit a birdie on 16 to take the lead, but Woods hit birdie putts of 15 and six feet on the last two holes to seal the win, prompting an emphatic fist pump and a huge roar from the crowd at Thousand Oaks, Calif
“It feels great,” Woods said, according to USA Today.
I am glad that old “iron putter” is finally over the hump or is it humps. He has had a rough time since his Missis beat him like a red headed step child with that driver after he crashed that new Escalade into the neighbor’s tree.
It has probably taken this long to get over the shellacking Ma Ma gave him for him to get his Mo Jo back.
There is nothing worse than a pissed of rich women with a golf club in her hand. “The Tig” is lucky she couldn’t pick up that SUV and beat him with it. That may have been his last tournament.
Everyone in this world makes mistakes and is entitled to turn over a new leaf.
I wish the Tiger a lot of luck in the future. Roar!
One thing he has to keep in mind is to keep his balls out of the sand trap and he will do OK!
“You gotta quit coming on to me, I am a married man”.
“Watch where your left paw is, it’s killing me”.
