All four of these ex-jail birds were convicted of a combination of charges including murder, assault and burglary. All four were serving life sentences and worked as trusties at the governor’s mansion at one time or another. It seems they got pretty close to the governor or maybe someone in his family???
I often wondered just how big the envelopes are that these out-going governors get when they make these outright stupid decisions. I bet the pay offs are a lot bigger than their brain.
If it were one of their family members who were the victims would that make a difference?
Do they really believe that they are doing the right thing for the families of the victims and for society?
It has been a proven fact that the majority of these cons will be repeat offenders. If so, maybe it will be some one the governor knows.
Now that they are citizens of the world again and not inmates, we should have them all move in permanently with the GOV and let us see how well they behave without the stripped suits on.
Does this look like a guy that can make good decisions?
Shame on you ex-governor Barbour. No one should have that kind of power.
