Indiana mom loses legs after saving her children from tornado:

CLARK COUNTY, Ind. – An Indiana mom who saved her children’s lives by shielding them with her own body during a tornado has lost parts of both of her legs.

This pathetic excuse for a mother Dalina Nicholas in the first story tells of a women trying to sell her 6-year-old daughter for drugs. What would ever possess a mother to attempt such a despicable act like that except desperation and a large touch of insanity.

Putting people like her in rehab is almost fruitless. In 2003 the recidivism rate among male drug abusers was 53% – female was 35%. I am sure that the numbers are much higher now. I understand that the rate is about 85% in both genders.

Remember what I said in a previous blogs; all the drug czars and all the money in the world will never overcome the drug addicted problem in the world; the only answer is education. That will take years to turn things around. I wonder what our leaders are waiting for?

The only time drug use is going to be deleted is when the demand for the “killing substances” is no longer there.

Is there an explanation for why this insane woman did what she did? Yes, she is insane?

The second story tells of this wonderful example of a woman who put herself in harm’s way and lost both of her legs trying to shelter her kids from getting injured in a tornado.

This lady should get the “Women of the decade award” for her bravery. I hope that her kids appreciate what a sacrifice she made for them and repay her by being the best kids they possibly can be.
