U.S. and North Korean officials meet to seal food aid deal:

I certainly realize that there are a lot of strategic maneuvers that need to be executed in this world to try and keep the gigantic mess that surrounds us functioning with some degree of balance and civility.

If that means giving aid to people that hate the United States of America with a passion; through no fault of their own because they have been brain washed since birth, so be it but take care for the people in your country first that are in worse shape than the people across the pond.

I wonder what the depleted food banks in the USA could do with 240,000 metric ton = 528,000,000 pounds of food if they had it available to them.

The United States government has the “turn the other cheek mentality”, “forgive and forget”; in my opinion it goes way beyond where it should. It is great to be so benevolent but not when some of our people are just as bad off as the people we are aiding. We keep coming up on the short side of the stick and it has cost us trillions of dollars in the past that could have been put to very good use in this country if the politicians didn’t screw it up.

The USA could be lying in the middle of the street bleeding after a bus just ran us over and some of the people that we are helping around the world would throw salt in our wounds as they passed by.

Charity is a wonderful thing, if your family is taken care of first!!!
