Keeping the Republic: Saving America by Trusting Americans: by Indiana’s Governor Mitch Daniels

Yesterday Governor Daniels gave his check mark to support Romney for president. With an endorsement like Daniels we can feel comfortable Romney is beginning to get the right backing and support he needs to do a good job as president. The old cliche’ is “you can always tell a person’s character by the company they keep”.

Take a good look at what we have in the White House now and that more or less tells the story. I don’t think that there has been this much controversy in DC since “Tricky Dick” was in office. The back stabbing, name calling, out of control spending and under the table dealing are way out of control; that is just for starters. Remember one thing; everything starts at the top. If any CEO or president doesn’t know what is going on in their company/administration they don’t belong there.

Governor Daniels has some very important and sensible methods that he has implemented in Indiana that has brought his state from being 700 million in the red to 1,000,000,000 in the black. Isn’t that what the USA needs; a doer not a talker?

We need someone in office that just doesn’t pass out lip service but someone that is going to take the bull by the horns and turn our country around instead of just talking about it.

With people like Daniels supporting Romney maybe he has a chance to win in November.

There is something that voters have to learn. Getting the right person in the Oval Office or any other office is not just about how popular or good looking a person is and what kind of smoke screen they put up, it is all about putting someone in the drivers’ seat that is going turn our country around by using no nonsense basic fundamentals and make it the great country it once was. Save the pennies and they add up to dollars.

Fortunately there are a few, although very few good guys out there like Daniels that still care about the health and welfare of the USA.

I still say that “flat tax” is one of the major tools to use to get our country out of debt. No tax shelters, no loop holes, every citizen and company has to pay their fair share. If you make 1.00 or 100,000,000 dollars everyone is taxed at the same rate.

As I said many times, the powers to be do not want to touch this flat tax issue with a 10 pole. It will hurt them and too many of their contributors and friends.

When times are tough, tough measures have to be taken.

Very good news for Romney to have the support of Governor Daniels, he needs all the help he can get. Keep the ball rolling.
