Gingrich mothballs campaign, but leaves behind multi-million dollar debt:

Now, we know who pays the tab for the winners of these campaigns but the question is who comes up shooting on the losers tab? Are they obliged to pay back every cent they received? I really doubt it. The people that throw their money around like these fools that pay $ 35,000.00 for a cold steak dinner have a few screws lose and are no shortages in their bank books.  I know, they just want to be seen where the action is like Mr. & Mrs. Salahi.

I wonder if the Newt is going to have to go back to sling hash in some greasy spoon somewhere back in his hometown in Georgia to pay his debts?

According to what I read he owes contributors over $ 4,000,000.00 but has a net worth of about $ 7,000,000.00. I don’t seriously think that he is going to take over half of his ging a ling from under his mattress to pay his “used to be” loyal supporters.

Newt gave it a good shot. He had a few problems that some people didn’t like, such as telling things the way they are and not sugar coating them. He “Shoots from the hip” most of the time and that characteristic scares some people.

First of all the general public loves to be lied to. How do you think the present guy in the Oval Office got there. If he would have told the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth he would have still been in the “Windy City” wandering around some of those cattle stables.

If a person like Newt who for the most part is a straight shooter takes the bull by the horns, address the problems head on, gives cold hard facts on how to resolve them; people get scared and are intimidated. People love to be lied to. This is one attribute all of the DC crowd has plenty of.

I really think that Newt had a better chance of debating Obama than Romney and that is what it is going to take to win this up and coming election.

He probably has more experience in Washington than all of the other Republican candidates put together. So what if he was married 8 times, almost as many as Mickey Rooney.

I think I know what part of the hang-up is with Newt. His middle name is “Leroy” and a lot of prodigious people in this country would not like a president with the middle name of Leroy. I really can’t understand that because we now have a guy named Barack Hussein Obama sitting on the throne.

Whatever the case may be; I wish  Newt Leroy well in all of his endeavors, financial or otherwise and hope doesn’t miss too many meals while his is paying back his supporters. He has to keep those button on that suit jacket tight and stretched out; it wouldn’t be the same any other way.
