John Edwards’ daughter expected to testify in his corruption trial:

Greensboro, North Carolina (CNN) — While John Edwards’ lawyers have not yet made a decision whether to put the former presidential candidate on the stand in his corruption trial, Edwards’ oldest daughter, Cate, is expected to testify this week, possibly as early as Tuesday.

Isn’t it bad enough what the “would be/maybe could have been president” did to his entire family? Now in order to try and save his butt from the slammers he and his “mouth piece” may ask his daughter get on the stand and testify in his behalf. What can she possibly say that is good about her old man? I think the picture tells a thousand words.

Cheating on a spouse is not an unusual thing in today’s society but who did it and the way he did it is way out in left field.

I think his daughter suffered enough and will continue to do so. The best memories she can have about her father is that he cheated on her mother when she was dying of cancer; then tried to cover it up with campaign contributions.

Edwards should man up, take his lumps and keep the family from any more pain and embarrassment.
