Repulsive’: Jewish Leaders Angry After Church Wraps Pastor in ‘Torah’ & Exalts Him as ‘King’

ATLANTA (The Blaze/AP) — Jewish leaders are criticizing a ceremony that involved a controversial mega church leader being wrapped in a religious scroll and exalted as a “king” to the applause of his parishioners.

Remember the very valuable swamp land I have for sale in Florida? It seems like I am pitching the wrong crowd. I should be in Fast Eddie Long’s church on Sunday selling it to his parishioners; they will buy anything.

This mega conman didn’t know when he was well off. At one time he had 25,000 members in his congregation but that distinction was not enough to satisfy his ego and desires.

He was raking the money in by the bushels. At his highpoint Eddie was clipping his followers for about $ 3,700,000 a year and that is only what is on the record books. This preacher dude has one giant appetite.

In September 2010 two male parishioners of Eddie’s made allegations against the smooth talking preacher/ con man that he was sexually inappropriate with them. The issue didn’t go anywhere but there was some conversation that Eddie made a settlement with the men to clam up.

I have always wondered why a lot of  people with money that claim they are not guilty always settle out of court for an undisclosed amount? It is stranger how money influences the establishment. The old saying that the rich can “get away with murder” has a lot of significance to it.

The power and money he was absconding with in his church and the sex with men was not enough to keep Eddie walking on cloud nine so he decided to elevate himself to King.

Earlier this year Bishop Eddie Long wrapped in a Torah scroll and announced to his congregation and the world that he was now “King”. All of the people that were attending that service, the ones that are going to buy that swamp land from me, applauded and praised Eddie as the newly crowned King.

Well I can tell you that Eddie’s self-promotion didn’t sit too well with the Jewish community. Big Eddie had to eat crow that is not fit for a King and apologize to the severely aggravated Jewish people.

No tell what the repercussions would have been with the Catholics if he had declared himself Assistant-Pope or some other high post in the Vatican. Assistant-Pope would not have been good enough for Eddie. He has to be the “top dog” and at this time I will agree with him; he is “number 1 dog”.
