The Castro Chronicle

Wealth of U.S. families drops 40 percent, Fed says:

The Federal Reserve’s detailed survey of consumer finances showed families’ median wealth plunged from $126,400 in 2007 to $77,300 in 2010 — a 39 percent decline. That put them on par with median wealth in 1992.

When I read this I thought I was reading a headline from The Castro Chronicle. It seems that some of the citizens in the USA have been put back about 20 years or so if we want to believe a federal report.

Maybe someone should send an addition of this to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. and mark it URGENT.

Why is it that the only people that don’t know these sordid details about our economy is the guy and his people that are supposed to be governing them?

There was a saying years back that stated “there were some changes made with Grape Nut Flakes”; well there better be some changes made with the nuts we have writing policy for our country before we get moved onto that island where Guantanamo Bay is.

With reports like this; it seems that our economy is headed in that direction.
