Soccer fan dies after reportedly staying awake for 11 nights to watch Euros Cups:

Now that is what I call a “die hard” sports fan.

Jiang Xiaoshan died from exhaustion June 19 after reportedly staying up for 11 straight days to watch the Euros Cups with his friends. He had a small wager of about 10,000 Chinese yuan ( 157.00 US) on the series and wanted to make sure he didn’t miss a kick.

After watching Italy defeat the Republic of Ireland, the 26-year-old fan went back to his home in Changsha, took a shower and fell asleep. Xiaoshan never woke up.

The cause of death was attributed to; too many eggs rolls, extra hot/spicy chop suey,  an excess of alcohol, eight cartons of Marlboro’s, sleep deprivation and a large dose of stupidity.

Jiang has some distant relatives in Ireland and was rooting for the Shamrocks. When they were de-feeted by the ass kicking Italian team nicknamed  the “Diligent Dagos” it was just too much for the than wore out soccer fan to take. His ticker gave out when he laid down after the cold shower he took.

The 26 year old parting wish was that he is cremated and his ashes be left in the urn next to the TV he watched for 11 days straight.

As a tribute to the fallen sports fan the Italian team sent the game ball to Joang’s Rottweiler to play with so he wouldn’t forget his master.

Those Italian all have a big heart.
