House votes to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt:

The vote to find Holder in contempt was 255 to 67, with 108 Democrats abstaining — capped weeks of partisan sniping over Holder’s decision not to turn over a set of documents that lawmakers had sought as part of their 18-month-long probe into “Fast and Furious,” as the case was known.

For 18 months this guy has thumbed his nose at the laws of the land; the same laws that he is supposed to enforce but he still refuses to cooperate with Congress.

His refusal to come clean demonstrates what little sympathy he has for the family and US Border patrol guard Brian Terry that was killed as a result of our governments irrational, illogical blunder .

When the ballots were counted it was 255 to slam Holder and 67 to support this law-breaker.  Then we have the cowards of congress, the 108 Democratic Donkeys and 2 Republican that have no balls that voted not to vote and abstained.

To abstain: ab•stain
1.
to hold oneself back voluntarily, especially from something regarded as improper or unhealthy

That is what Webster defines abstain as. It would be improper or unhealthy for these “cowards of congress” to declare themselves because either way they would have voted they were certain to piss someone off. So they sit back with their thumbs where the sun doesn’t shine and made no decision at all.

To think that these guys make about $ 175,000.00 a year to do what they don’t do; plus perks.

They are like the rooster that sit on the top of a fence and just sways in the breeze from side to side but never falls off the fence.

I can’t wait to see what or who Holder is concealing if and when he ever comes clean. It has to be one hell of a secret.

Holder does not want the fact that he is the first attorney general in the USA’s history that was ever held in contempt to go unnoticed. He figures this distinction deserves a celebration.

This may be just a rumor. I heard that Holder was throwing a “contempt party” this weekend for the guys that voted to support him. Not to be left out; Holder also invited the abstainers to the party to show some partial gratitude but they are going to clean up after everyone leaves; that includes the head/WC.

Now that a contempt decision was levied against the AG where does it go from here.

Is it going to be a slap on the wrist like Charlie Mr. Rangel got who was once chairman of the powerful House Ways and Means Committee. He was found guilty on 11 counts of ethical violations, including failure to pay taxes, improper solicitation of fund-raising donations and failure to report his personal income accurately. His fine/punishment was an amazing $ 23,000.00. Charlie made that much plus in one afternoon with a fund raiser his followers threw to help the poor guy out of the scrape he was in.  What money won’t buy.

These politicians are as good as the poaching preachers that continue to steal from the congregations but the fools keep throwing them 100 bills every Sunday.

“This may be the big one honey, I’m coming to see you Elizabeth”

“Johnny, if me and the little lady ever have another kid I want you to be the god-father”

This is another example of DC justice

Liberty University:

The impeachment trial of William Jefferson Clinton barely was over when loyalist suggested that those who crossed swords with this president would be singled out for punishment. Those familiar with the current occupants of the White House know that these people do not believe in turning the other cheek.

That maybe the best example of why there are so many abstainers not only in DC but in the world.

When a person has a backbone and integrity and are not afraid to take a stand for what they  believe in, even if it is not popular, this person is put on the black list.

The down side of being an abstainer is; when the day of reckoning comes around and the lid slams in their face the inscription on the box will read; “Here lies an abstainer who never took a stand and died without dignity”.
