Lawmaker: USOC ‘should be ashamed’ Team USA uniforms made in China:

(CNN) — The U.S. Olympic Committee is defending sponsor Ralph Lauren’s uniforms for the opening ceremonies at the London Games after it was revealed American athletes will be wearing clothing manufactured in China.

The USA always was and still is its own worst enemy. The right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing or at least that is what they claim; ignorance. It is not ignorance it is incompetence and greed. They know exactly what they are doing. Transaction like this are a gigantic insult and slap in the face to American workers.

Remember “it is always about the money”. The people transacting these deals would push their mother in front of a bus to save a 10 bill. They are as bad as the lawyers that have their clients plead not guilty when 13 bodies were found under the guy’s bed with his DNA all over them. These are the people that Chubby Checker made the song for, The Limbo Rock,  “How low can you go”!

There should be guidelines in place throughout government, city, state, county and federal in every department; regardless of what the services provided are; that only American companies that manufacture or provided services to the USA are compelled to conduct their services and transaction in this country with other American companies and American workers; with now exceptions.

Naturally the cost of the product or service is going to go up slightly but I don’t think that any American citizen would object to paying more for a product or service if the unemployment rate was at 2%.

The document doesn’t have to be as complicated as government makes it. Six years in the making and a 70,000 page document. The regulation can be written in 2 – 3 paragraphs, written by one person in less than 30 minutes.

One of the biggest ploys the government employees love to push down it’s citizens throat is; the more complicated they make EVERYTHING sound, the longer it takes to execute, the more difficult they make it look; they are only trying to fortify their jobs. *****

I would be willing to bet, if 25% or more of the federal employees were suddenly to disappear they would not be missed for at least 10 months. I can’t blame Obama for this one it has been going on for a very long time.

Did you ever take notice on just how expediently or enthusiastically a governmental employee works? It is hard to tell who the snail is and who the turtle is. Plain and simple, it is called job security. Some people call it “intercoursing the canine”. Refer to *****

Time and time again we read about some governmental agency giving away work to foreign companies when our people are out of work.

The bridge San Francisco; a 7 billion dollar project was given to a Chinese company who employed Chinese workers. USA uniforms for the Olympics are made in China. The berets for the US Army were made in China. The list goes on endlessly.

I know that it is difficult to control what privately owned companies do but the government above anyone else should be looking out for it citizens and discontinue sending work across the pond.

Manufacturing is what made our country great and that is the only thing that is going to bring it back. It is a crying shame that our governments have had to resort to relying on their revenue from Casinos’.

I don’t care if the money to make the uniforms for the Olympic team are privately funded, the fact that still remains, why should our American athletics have to wear uniforms with labels that read “Made in China” ?

I wonder how many labels in China, India or Korea read “made in America”?
