Kerry Kennedy charged in hit-and-run crash:

New York (CNN) — Kerry Kennedy, the daughter of the late Robert F. Kennedy and ex-wife to New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, was involved in a hit-and-run incident Friday morning while under the influence of drugs, according to the New York State Police.

There is more of a down side to growing up with a golden spoon in your mouth than people realize.

Most of these kids never had any responsibility, accountability or discipline. To put the icing on their cake they had an unlimited amount of cash at their disposal to support their habits and fuel their fires. Life in the fast lane usually comes to a screeching halt for them without warning.  By that time it is too late; the party is over.

It is tough enough growing up in today’s society as a “commoner” let alone being treated like a princess or a prince by everyone. Why are they treated with “kid gloves”; because they are a child of a very important, wealthy person.

How many of these kids had any responsibility in their lives such as taking out the garbage, washing the car, cleaning their rooms, washing dishes, cutting the grass and a multitude of other things. They were all spoiled with nannies, butlers, housekeepers, bodyguards and a host of entourages that made them think that they were super-human being. It was always about the money. In most cases when the money dries up so do the hanger-oners.

Time after time we read about the celebs kids that go down the wrong road and wind up either dead or in rehab on a weekly basis. The list is endless.

These kids are not treated like any other normal citizen when they stand in front of the guy with the robe on. They have these high priced shyster attorneys that are hired by their parents to bail them out time and time again, only to go back to the same hole they just crawled out of.

The judges are either paid off or think they are doing the kid a favor by letting them off the hook. They don’t want to piss of Rocky.

It is a tragedy what happens to the young people because it can be avoided if their parents showed them a little affection and some tough love by letting them pay for their mistakes behind bars or in a real rehab facility that is going to do them some good.

Last but not least; the parents have to set a good example for their kids. That rarely happens with the extremely wealthy. “Let the nanny take care of it”.

One of the only people that I can remember that did it the right thing by her kids was Jackie Kennedy. She tried to bring up her kids as normal as possible under the circumstances they were born into. John, John and Caroline had everything they ever wanted but their mother taught them the one word that is the key to life. RESPECT. One word in our dictionary that seems to have lost its values.

If that one word, RESPECT was implemented in every human-being as a word to live by and a way of life; this world would be a better and safer place to exist in. It is the most important word in the dictionary.

Pass it on!!
