Romney ad hits Obama for political payoffs:
The Romney commercial hits on the $535 million in loan guarantees backed by the Obama administration that were awarded to Solyndra, an energy firm that later filed for bankruptcy. It also touches on federal funds spent on “windmills from China and electric cars from Finland.
The ad ends with a clip of Sen. Charles Schumer of New York — a member of the Senate Democratic leadership — talking about an investigative report showing “79% of 2.1 billion in stimulus grants awarded through it went to overseas companies.”
Show me a politician that hasn’t kicked back and I will show you this amazing hen I just bought that has teeth.
If we took all of the underhanded dealings and back door transactions that take place in politics and put them together; we would not be able to fit them in “The Palace in Dallas”.
Kickbacks and payoffs have been going on since the first politician walked this earth 10,000 years ago when Congressman caveman got paid off for getting one of his cave dwellers cousins a job at the “Dino Wash”. It will continue to go on as long as there are politicians and a buck to be made.
The consensus of opinions is that prostitution is the oldest occupation. I say “a politician was her pimp”. So who really came first?
This 2012 presidential election has to be the sleaziest and most expensive election since Moby Dick was a minnow and it is only going to get worse the closer it gets to November. This is when HBO and Showtime come in very handy.
