At least 21 treated for burns after trying to walk on coals at Tony Robbins event

Fire officials in California say at least 21 people were treated for burns after attendees of an event for motivational speaker Tony Robbins tried to walk on hot coals. Talk about being stupid.

The San Jose Mercury News reports that at least three people went to a hospital and most suffered second- or third-degree burns.

A couple of years ago they made a movie about these people that walked on the hot coals barefooted; it was called “Dumb and Dumber”.

I want to meet some these foolish, gullible, naive folks that get taken in by these “snake oil salesmen” because I still have a lot of that swamp land left in Florida that I am trying to get rid of at bargain basement prices.

It wasn’t too long ago when another “silver tongued” con man James Ray killed a few of the same caliber of people in one of his sweat lodge retreats.

Jimmy Jones killed 800 people in Guiana a few years back after he made them drink a poison tainted Kool Aid.

The smooth talking snake in the grass Eddie Long got caught molesting kids.

The list is endless of these self-indulgent, ego maniacs that make a very good living talking people out of their money. The list is also endless of the gullible people that are standing in line waiting to drop their whole life saving in the con man’s lap.

For the most part; people that fall victim to these sharks are lost sheep looking for a leader to bring them out of the wilderness.

Let me give them a little clue about life. There are no shortcuts, there is no easy way out and there is no swami out there that can cure all of your life’s ailments. It is all on you to do what you have to do to make it through this life in one piece and still have your marbles left. There are no magic cures. It is called self-preservation.
