(CNN) — In a shocking article on TheAwl.com, author and mother Amy Sohn writes that moms in her affluent Brooklyn neighborhood are going through something called “the 40-year-old reversion.” The tedium of raising children, she says, is driving moms in her circle out at night to party to the extreme as if they were 25 again.
After reading an article like this; does anyone feel the need to wonder why some of today kids are half nuts with mother like these as role models?
These ladies, if that is what you want to call them, I would rather use the term “bimbos” , should hang their heads in shame but instead they are advertising what they are doing just like a bunch of hookers. Maybe that will be their next endeavor.
Sohn likens the scene to the HBO show “Girls,” which depicts life in New York for the post-college crowd: “…We’re masturbating excessively, cheating on good people, doing coke in newly price-inflated townhouses, and sexting compulsively—though rarely with our partners. Our children now school-aged, our marriages entering their second decade, we are avoiding the big questions—Should I quit my job? Have another child? Divorce?—by behaving like a bunch of crazy twenty something hipsters. Call us the Regressives.”
Instead of calling them regressives; I would call them a bunch of nutty broads that have husband with no goolunie what so ever. It may be possible that their hubbies are as demented as they are.
What can a person like these ladies of the night say when their kid is arrested for using drugs, boozing or engaging in under age sex? Is their response to the authorities; “I don’t see anything wrong with what my kid is doing, I do the same thing every night”.
Maybe if these tramps are lucky they can bring their “half a man” hubbies home a present for his birthday after a long night of partying. It is what people do when they applaud a singer. Let me give you a clue; it starts with a C and ends with a P. I knew you would get it.
It is a good thing for society that these people are in the minority but I think they are gaining ground every day. Like the old song went “We got trouble right here in River City”
