Ryan’s home town wonders: Will campaign change him?
Already the red flags are going up around the newly crowned vice presidential candidate. It doesn’t sound to me like that is a very big compliment especially coming from friends.
Even those who have known him longest wondered if some kind of transformation was at hand. Either these close friends know something the press doesn’t or they are some very pessimistic people.
Is it possible that the hometown boy is going to follow the same road as the rest of the high flyer in D.C. It does take a good person to keep things in prospective; more have failed than succeeded.
Some can compare it to a lady that’s husband was just promoted in one day from a janitor to CEO of a mulit-million dollar company. She just doesn’t have the polish or breeding for her new role in life.
I am not casting any aspersions on Ryan I am just making a general statement. I never met the guy.
I always say “It is impossible to put a silk suit on a hog” but some people do try and look very foolish in the process; especially when the suit is pink.
There is a definite and distinct line between confidence and conceit and some people find it very hard to distinguish between the two; especially when one day your husband is a janitor and the next day a CEO.
Years ago there was a family in Cleveland that was worth 700 million dollars and that was when there were 3 millionaires in the country. The 3 brother and their wives could not get along. “How come her Jag is bigger than mine”? “How come she has 24 Mink Coats and I only have 18”?
As a first, a judge finally had to get in between the family and instruct them on how to spend and dispense their money. The silk suit didn’t fit them either.
I sure hope Ryan meets the challenge; we absolutely need a change. Time will tell.
I hope he didn’t get a parking ticket when he was 11 because it is sure to hit the headlines on CNN.
