I am very surprised that the senate, congress and the president haven’t set a up a fund for their haircuts. Maybe they did and it is hidden somewhere.
I am quite sure that Obama is not responsible for the majority of these over the top expenditures but shouldn’t it be the responsibility of the current leader of our country to try and cut the fat? That was one of his platforms in 2008; cut the fat and get rid of the lobbyists. He hasn’t done either.
Some of the funds are so unusual that it is hard to believe that they exist. This is a direct result of special interest groups/lobbyists that have what seems to be an unbreakable strong hold on Washington DC.
The USA is going broke or has gone broke being partly because it is an entitlement country; literally giving away all of the taxpayers money.
It seems to me that through the years our government has just gone hog wild dishing out money to special interest groups and foreign governments. It has to come to a head; because sooner or later this gigantic infested pimple is going to pop, be very messy and do permanent damage if it hasn’t already.
This is a list of just the top 25 countries that receive aid from the USA. There are hundreds more.
Do any of the citizens of this country know about all these handouts? I sure didn’t until I did a little research.
Afghanistan 159.56 233.52
Pakistan 10.52 4.95
Israel 4.94 380.68
Iraq 39.46 33.91

Haiti 145.75 0.19
Ethiopia 11.16 0.00
Sudan 19.82 2.39
Colombia 15.34 4.20
Kenya 19.99 0.06
Jordan 72.31 47.41
Mexico 5.54 0.85
Senegal 5.6.67 0.30
West Bank/Gaza 172.44 0.00
South Africa 11.53 0.03
Tanzania 13.21 0.48
Russia 2.72 0.91
Uganda 13.50 1.09
Nigeria 2.82 0.02
Georgia 91.30 3.87
Mozambique 18.02 0.02
Congo (Kinshasa) 5.14 0.43
Indonesia 1.29 0.10
Zambia 24.62 0.03
Kazakhstan 17.82
All of these numbers are in the million
I said it before and I will say it again; if the USA had its back against the wall we would be hard pressed to find a few countries that would help us out. What other government does what we do. I know the answer from the politicians; “that is what makes us great”. I still say that charity begins at home.
Can we even imagine what good the USA could do with the combined funds if they were put to public use?
It is time to put the financial brakes on and take a serious look at all of our deficiencies and straighten them out once and for all. This is a matter of self-preservation and survival.
