Paul Ryan: ‘I’m proud of my record’ on abortion:

ABOARD THE RYAN PLANE – Facing a mounting effort by Democrats to tie him to the Todd Akin controversy, Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan said Wednesday that he is proud of his record on abortion rights and maintained that Mitt Romney is the one who will set the GOP ticket’s policy.

This is a major difference between a man who lives and dies by his convictions regardless of the consequences and a guy that sways with the breeze and caves into public opinion for the sake of the votes.

The only conclusion a person can come to is; we will always know where the first guy is coming from and where he is going but the second guy has no backbone and will do whatever is popular at the time. Inconsistency is not a very admirable characteristic.
