Armstrong faces lifetime ban, loss of 7 Tour titles after dropping doping charges fight:

It is a real shame that the Lance Man had to get to this point in his life. He must have seen the cards stacked against him and didn’t want to be forced to tell the truth on the witness stand.

There is a motto I have always lived by all my life; if I ever pulled a bank job I would do it myself; that way I can be the only one to hang myself.

With stunning swiftness, the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency said Thursday night it will strip Lance Armstrong of his unprecedented seven Tour de France titles after he dropped his fight against drug charges that threatened his legacy as one of the greatest cyclists of all time.

There is a very good chance that Lance could have won these medals without that “kick a boo juice”. Lance and all that came before him and the ones that are coming after him don’t care about the long range medical implication from taking that junk. All they focus on is fame and fortune.

It is a shame that the legitimate athletes they beat while on drugs didn’t have an equal chance.

• HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE; watching some of these people perform, I am surprised they don’t have a stroke with each activity

• HIGH CHOLESTEROL; take Lipitor
• ENLARGED PROSTATE; after a while a man doesn’t need one anyway
• LIVER MALFUNCTION
• BALDING; if nothing else would prohibit them I would think this side effect would keep them away from the needle
• MALE CHARACTERISTICS IN FEMALES; some are questionable anyway
• AGGRESSION; take a look at big time wrestling – talk about aggression
• HIV; they saw Magic Johnson live with it – trying to beat the odds
• LIVER FAILURE; get a transplant
• CARDIOVASCULAR PROBLEMS; get a packmaker
• NEUROLOGICAL ISSUES; gotta be half nuts to do what some of these people do anyway
• WEIGHT PROBLEMS; get a stomach by pass
• LIGAMENT AND JOINT INJURY; all they care about is today, tomorrow and long range effects never enters their minds
• STUNTED GROWTH; I don’t ever recall seeing a “little person” on roids

When people are so obsessed with their 15 minutes of fame; the long range consequences that may develop never enters their mind; or if it does they don’t care.

To the best of my knowledge Roger “The Jet” Clemens was one of the few that beat the system, he either had a good attorney or was telling the truth about his involvement in taking performance enhancing drugs.

The person that benefited the most from the steroid debacle was an Italian guy named Victor Conte who founded Balco. He made a fortune juicing up all of his followers before he got shut down.

Victor made a truck load of money but only served 4 month in the cross bar hotel. He must have had a jury from Norway.

Today Victor Conte is a free man and still running a business called “Scientific Nutrition for Advanced Conditioning” or “SNAC.”

To all of the potential juice heads out there, be careful of who you hang around with and who knows your secrets. Most of the time we can’t even trust family members.

Here is much better advice; stay away from the junk. If you are a good athlete you don’t need it. Rely on your talent and determination. Never give up. Be a leader not a follower. I have witnessed exceptional athletes in my life that had a boat load of determination and mediocre skills; on the other hand I witnessed people with a boat load of skill but no determination. Guess who came out on top? Determination wins out every time.

Keep your chin tucked in, hands up and your eye on the ball.
