Fact Check: About those 4.5 million jobs ..
I have to give CNN two thumbs up this morning for “telling it like it is”.
Last night when Mr. Obama gave his speech and claimed he generated 4.5 million jobs since he has been in office; his calculation were slightly off to the tune of about 4,200,000. He must use the same guy that writes his speeches to do his math.
CNN:
Nonfarm private payrolls hit a post-recession low of 106.8 million that month, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. The figure currently stands at 111.3 million as of July.
While that is indeed a gain of 4.5 million, it’s only a net gain of 300,000 over the course of the Obama administration to date.
I can’t really believe that someone in his position that knows the entire world is dissecting every words and syllable he speaks can come up with a fallacy like that to try and deceive the voters.
Lately, there seems to be some very desperate moves in the Obama Camp to camouflage the facts.
Should we call that “politics as usual” or a high degree of fabrication?
If a person is going attempt to use falsehoods like that, what else are they trying to cover up?
