The following is a quote from the President of the United States:
“You can’t change Washington from the inside,” Obama said. “You can only change it from the outside.”
Did Obama really make that brilliant statement yesterday?
I would assume that “inside” means inside the government and “outside” means outside the government. Who is the government? I though it was Obama. If he can’t change it what is he doing there
If my assumption is correct why do we need politicians in Washington if our government cannot be fixed our problems from the “inside”? Isn’t that the reason all of these Rhodes scholars were elected to their high paying jobs to fix the government from the “inside”?
It astounds me that the more some of these politicians open their mouth the more they show their intelligence or lack of it.
If our government cannot fix itself from the “inside” I would recommend that we get rid of all the DC dead weight “inside” and find another solution to fixing the gigantic mess we are in. The people we having running our country have only one objective and that is their own gratification.
What DC needs are a group of very well educated, honest and industrious businessmen and businesswomen that love our country, know how to make things happen and do not owe anyone any favors they are obliged to pay back once they are elected. I don’t know if there is that caliber of people out there or anyone that would even want to take on that enormous responsibility?
One thing I do know for sure and it came directly from the “horse’s mouth”. We have someone at the helm of our sinking ship that claims we cannot fit it from the “inside” and this guy wants to get re-elected? I would recommend that we put him on the “outside” when November comes around.
