Sparks fly as Biden, Ryan face off in feisty vice presidential debate:
I don’t know if I want to call Joe Biden arrogant or full of confidence? Maybe a little of both.
That Ipana smile he put on every time Ryan made a comment was overwhelming. The studio lights were awful bright and the glare for those “Ivories”of Joe were killing me.
It may be a political thing but there is nothing worse than a person laughing at someone when they make a statement trying to embarrass them or indicating that the other person is stupid.
I think that debate was evenly matched for the most part but all in all, if a person was going to make a decision as to where they were going to put their X in November; based on past performance, I would have to say that Ryan and company came away with the check mark.
But just like all politicians; they will promise the voters the universe but delivering when they get in the hot seat is another matter.
I am surprised that the news media didn’t pick up on one of Joe’s blunders. It was when Ryan told him about his fabrications and off the wall comments he makes from time to time. Joe’s response was as I would expect: “but I always say what I mean”. If that is the case he better go to confession this weekend before he attends mass.
The 9th commandment is: Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
That is all the two sides have been doing since this campaigning started; lying about their opponent to try and discredit them. I think the Obama teams gets the check mark for be the most ruthless.
It was a contest between a highly seasoned VP that has been in many political wars and a new kid on the block that is making his bones. Joe used his years of practicing his skills to look relatively respectable but Ryan did a very good job of hanging in there.
The moral of the story is; what has the Obama administration fulfilled in way of the promises and commitments he made to the American people 4 years ago. Not much.
That fact and that fact alone should be the clincher.
