All that glitters is not gold:
I has to be a very tough assignment growing up and trying to be someone you are not. Sooner or later the charade usually catches up with the egotistical maniac.
It seems that Jill Kelly and her hubby Scott Kelly a well-respected cancer surgeon are not all that they seem to be.
They were living the good life and going basically undetected before Jill claims she received some nasty emails from Paula Broadwell telling her to stay away from her man, CIA chief / retired 4 star general Petrous.
As a result she called the FBI to pull rank and straighten out her nemesis; that is when the house of cards came tumbling down.
After the can of worms was opened, public records showed that the wanna be socialites have their backs against the wall where it comes to their finances and are living a half truth.
Some of their financial difficulties are:
The $2.1 million purchase of a three-story office building downtown ended in foreclosure.
The couple defaulted on a $250,000 line of credit and owe thousands on credit cards.
Chase Bank sued for $25,880 in 2010.
FIA Card Services sued in February for $79,876, including more than $75,000 in cash advances on a Visa Signature card.
Regions Bank sued in August 2010 after the Kelleys failed to make payments on $250,000 borrowed July 19, 2005. The bank ultimately settled for $85,000 and required the Kelleys to pay $850 a month toward the debt.
Why does a person that makes that kind of scratch have to make payments? I wonder if they use “layaway” when they show at Kmart?
Where I come from this syndrome is called “all flash and no cash”.
To make matters worse Jill Kelley’s twin sister, Natalie Khawam, moved in when her marriage broke up. If she is a high roller like her twin the good doctor is going to have to do a lot more slicing and dicing to keep the twins in mink coats.
The twin has contacted police at least five times since mid-2009, including once in 2010 over a possible stalker she said might have been related to her divorce. Both of the twins like the spotlight.
One thing the doc should insist on; that his old lady stay off the phone and quit sending text messages. She has caused enough trouble for him. I wouldn’t be surprised if we see a couple of divorces in this CAI and military mess.
Jill didn’t know when she was well off before she tried to get back in the spot light attempting to use her political influence as an assistant council general . I am sure this bad publicity will certainly have a strain on the good doctors practice.
