The Senate is taking off for a long weekend:

If nothing else these shysters we have in DC are pretty consistent. Every time they have a crisis or an important decision to make they take a long weekend.

I have said this for years and I will continue to do so. 95% of all politicians only care about their personal well-being and could care less about the people that elected them into office.

We have an impending crisis on our hands with this “financial cliff” they have been talking about for a very long time. What do the DC Drifters do when the dead line is just around the corner; certainly they take a long weekend.

It’s not like these bureaucratic bandits are working a construction job or something that is physically demanding; they sit on their ass all week and argue with one another like a bunch of kids.

In corporate America; if these people were as non-productive as they are in Washington, the ink wouldn’t be dry on their contracts before they were ushered out the back door into the alley where the rest of the dumpsters are.

I think it is about time these over-worked and under-paid representatives vote for another pay raise for them-selves. There are not many jobs in this world where people can write their own tickets; and when it comes to their personal welfare they are not bashful at all !

I really wish there was something positive for me to blog about concerning our government.
