The Blame Game

Obama’s second-term agenda will be shadowed by budget woes:

obWhen it is all said and done, when elected terms are over, when someone leaves office with their head down to live the rest of their life in luxury; who really takes the rap for what they didn’t accomplish? It certainly isn’t them; it is too easy to blame the other guy.

There is so much room for finger pointing that everyone keeps passing the buck to one another. What the headlines indicate may be true to some degree but this is not the way government should operate.

Is it that these elected officials are stubborn, lazy, self-centered, not ambitious or don’t they really care about the people they are supposed to represent? I personally think it is a little of all of above.

They do not have an issue with grandstanding when they want to take the credit for something that went right (which rarely does) but when it goes the other way the politicians remind me of a Chinese Fire Drill with everyone stumbling over one other trying to push the opposition off of the fire escape.

So now that the “election of all time” is over and Obama was elected again, we are reading headlines that “Obama’s second-term agenda will be shadowed by budget woes” ; meaning it will be put into jeopardy because the other side will not co-operate.

I think it is horrendous that these over paid, under worked people that represent us cannot leave their egos at home, put their heads together, get their heads out of where the sun doesn’t shine and pull the USA out of the jackpot it is in. That is why they are called “representatives”, they are supposed to represent the American people.  The only thing they care about is their own agenda/retirement and taking care of the people that put them in office.

So the beat goes on; one side against the other – what is good for the party – the hell with the American people. This sham of an election did not solve one problem our country has it may have made it worse.

I truly believe that if our representatives had to live under the same conditions and situations as the common citizen we would not have all of this childish bickering that seems to have no end and they would resolve these issue without hesitation.  It is just politics as usual.

Maybe 12-21-12 will solve all of our problems???? Enjoy that steak you eat between now and then.
