JESSE JACKSON RESIGNS:
This is the statement that the Jesse Jackson Jr. gave to explain his resignation from the senate.
“For seventeen years I have given 100 percent of my time, energy and life to public service. However, over the past several months, as my health has deteriorated, my ability to serve the constituents of my district has continued to diminish,” the letter read. “Against the recommendations of my doctors, I had hoped and tried to return to Washington and continue working on the issues that matter most to the people of the Second District. I know now that will not be possible.”
There seems to be a few minor details the senator left out; like improper use of campaign funds to furnish for his Washington, D.C., home and allegations that Jackson bought a female friend a $40,000 Rolex watch. Aren’t these politicians supposed to know what the laws are; they are the people that write them.
There is one more wrecking ball hanging over Jesse’s head. Some speculate he was involved with the “King of Hairdo’s” Rod Blagojevich in the attempt to sell Obama’s vacant senate seat. Rod got 14 years in the slams for his part in the crime.
In one of my previous blogs I indicated that Junior’s stay in the rehab facility was all a sham and was devised to get him sympathy when the cat was let out of the bag about all of his extra curricular’s.
The defense for Jackson set out quite a few months ago conjuring up a scheme to claim that Jesse has a bi-polar disorder. I think the medical term for the illness is “thiefites”.
Definition of Bi-polar:
Bipolar disorder, formerly called manic depression, is a mental illness that causes people to have episodes of severe high and low moods. People who have this illness switch from feeling overly happy and energized to feeling very sad and vice versa. Because of the highs and the lows — or two poles of mood — the condition is referred to as “bipolar” disorder. In between episodes of mood swings, a person may experience normal moods.
One would think that if the defense is going to make up a lie they would come up with a better one like Schizophrenia or something; that way if Jesse didn’t commit the crimes maybe they can blame his other personality.
If and when he is brought up on charges and tried on his home turf he is sure to walk away clean. Here is a guy that did not even campaign for his re-election, the voters knew of the impending charges against him and he still got the X mark by a 65% of the voters. Now that is one popular fellow
