South of the boarder is a no no

Tourists raped near Acapulco, Mexico:

(CNN) — A band of hooded gunmen broke into a beach bungalow near Acapulco, Mexico, and raped six women tourists after tying up a group of men with their own cell phone cables, officials said Tuesday.

Given the current world circumstances and conditions; why would anyone want to vacation in Mexico?

Because of economics, the governments of countries don’t tell their citizens just how dangerous these places are for vacationing. It is always about dollars.

The Mexican government cannot even control the “banditos” in their own country. They are out gunned, out muscled and the outlaws have more money than the good guys. It is a very dangerous place to be.

In 2012 things finally came to a head for the vacation spot; the violence and crime had gotten so out of control, the world famous resort city of  has gone broke and is unable to pay their creditors  2.14 billion pesos ($162.1 million).

I would be willing to bet that the travel agent didn’t tell these Spanish people about the poor economical condition of their vacation destination. As a rule of thumb; the more impoverishes a place is the higher their crime rate will be.

My advice to anyone that would listen would be; don’t go south of the boarder to vacation. We have enough problems here in the USA without looking for more.

Don’t go where you don’t belong!!
