Obama proposes short-term budget fix to delay spending cuts:

Are the leaders of our country ever going to put their egos in the closet, put their heads together and get us out of this dilemma we are in? I really don’t think so.

President Barack Obama will propose on Tuesday that Congress pass a small package of spending cuts and tax reforms to delay larger, automatic cuts from going into effect and give Washington more time to agree on a broader budget deal.
Republican House of Representatives Speaker John Boehner largely rejected Obama’s proposal in advance.

Huge cuts to defense and domestic programs are slated to go into effect in roughly three weeks.

Just in case the upper echelon of our government does know it; the main reason our streets do not resemble Afghanistan or Syria is because of the strength of our military. The worse thing that the “puppeteers” can do at this critical point is pull the wrong strings and cut defense spending.

I truly believe that our leaders are so delusional that they think the USA cannot take a tumble. They better open their eye and ears, shut their mouths and listen to people that are in the know and make some drastic changes ASAP or before.

I forgot; I am talking about the same cluster of self-serving ego maniacs that just voted themselves a very healthy raise when the country is literally falling apart. If that is not a blatant act of stubbing their nose at the “little guy” I don’t know what is?

What has happened to all of the campaign promises?

This may just be a rumor I heard but I don’t think so. The Chinese government has their scouts traveling around the USA checking out the most valuable assets we have so when it comes time for them to call in their chips, they can go for the cream of the crops.
Don’t think that is an impossibility. We always have to “pay the fiddler”.
