Saudi Islamist preacher on trial in daughter’s slaying:

Isn’t it about time that these Islamic countries come out of the dark ages and start doing whatever is necessary to protect their women and children from these religious fanatics? In case they haven’t noticed it is 2013.

“The father confessed to the abuse, the beating and torturing Lama in the most obnoxious manners,”  “These are not some unfounded accusations, but everything is based on the medical examination by the hospital and the team of physicians who treated Lama when she was first admitted.”

What wrong can a little 5 year old girl do that is so severe that her father would beat her to death?

If I am not mistaken that is or was the land of “an eye for an eye”. If it is illegal now they should reinstate for special case to deal with animals like this.
