Steven Seagal and sheriff train Arizonans to guard schools:

What a team!!!

Who said it couldn’t be done? We have an Italian Law-man and a Russian Jewish martial artist teaming up to help protect the kids in their community. If the Italians and the Jews can get along why can’t the Democrats and Republicans do the same? All it takes is to put the ego away from a few months and co-operate with each-other. Not everyone has to be the “STAR”.

It is nice to see that “Nico” is giving back. He has done very well on the big screen now he is going into action in real life.

“America’s Toughest Sheriff” joined forces this weekend with action movie star Steven Seagal to train volunteer armed posse members to defend Phoenix-area schools against gunmen.

SheriffJoe Arpaio announced the controversial plan to team up the Aikido, Karate, Judo expert to try and protect the school kids in their Arizona communities.

I think it is a great idea as long as they thoroughly scrutinize the applicants backgrounds. Putting a lethal weapon in the hands of a unqualified or mentally unstable person is worse than having no protection at all.

If this test run is successful, possibly it can be implemented around the country.

This is maybe part of the answer to the unemployment crisis. Great things are built brick at a time, not by the truck load.

There are approximately 248,000 public schools in the USA. If it is possible to weed out all of the undesirables from the unemployment ranks, put one well trained guard at the front door and one at the back of each school; that will be almost 500,000 people that could be put to work. That should keep Seagal busy for a few years.

OK politicians; it is time to think outside the box. There are solutions to the unemployment crisis if you want to  get creative. It does take a 200 man committee 2 years to figure it out either.

Our kids need protection now, not next week or next month. We have just seen the tip of the iceberg with these copycat crimes.
