Malia Obama’s Trip to Mexico: $115,500.87

This is old news but there may be some of the public hasn’t heard of. As soon as the news media began to publicize “the first daughters” trip to Mexico on the American taxpayers tab the White House used its political influence and made it disappear.

Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch today released records detailing the government funds expended on First Daughter Malia Obama’s March 2012 Spring Break vacation to Mexico. According to the records, obtained from the U.S. Secret Service as a result of a Judicial Watch Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit filed on September 20, 2012, the total cost of the trip amounted to $115,500.87

Ground transportation: $23,964.81 – Lodging: $21,682.92 – Airfare: $47,767.34 – “Vouchers”: $21,636.14 (not itemized) – Support Charges: $449.66

It doesn’t sound to me like there were many meals eaten at the Golden Arches.

Stunts like this is just are very small example of the arrogance and lack of concern the Obama administration has for the American taxpayers and their hard earned money.

When Obama was elected in 2008 he and his family must have assumed that they fell into a bottomless pit of gold and are completely out of control when it comes to someone else’s money.

Malia, the first daughter didn’t just buy a round trip ticket for Mexico for herself; she, with her father’s permission I am sure, brought along at least 12 of her homies with her to help bleed the taxpayers a little more. I don’t blame her I blame her father.

For security purposes 25 secret service agents were dispatched to Mexico with her and her entourage to make sure she and her group was well protected. That alone had to cost a few pesos.

I don’t think that any American would deny anyone of the Obama’s a vacation to get away from the “very stressful and productive” lifestyles they keep but I think that there should be  limits or at least guidelines as to what is acceptable and what isn’t.

If there was no deceits or cover-up intended, why did the White House jump on this and have it squashed when it hit the press?

I don’t know how many different ways Obama and his crew can deliberately insult the American taxpayers and do it with a straight face. It is called entitlement.

Definition of ENTITLEMENT

Don’t get on a soap box and preach that our country has financial problems and then pull shenanigans  like this.

This little jaunt of the first daughter is just the tip of the iceberg. Michele Obama is a lot more extravagant than her daughter.

The First Lady is believed to have taken 42 days of holiday in the past year, including a $375,000 break in Spain and a four-day ski trip to Vail, Colorado, where she spent $2,000 a night on a suite at the Sebastian hotel.

Is this kind of financial abuse acceptable to the American people? How about a modest suite that cost 300.00 or 400.00 per night room instead of $2,000.00. A $375,000 trip to Spain; is that necessary?

These expenses are not including all of the security and costs associated with her transportation on government airplanes that cost hundreds of thousands of dollars.

This type of manipulation of American taxpayer’s money is tantamount to Evangelist preachers like “Fast Eddie” that stand on their perches every Sunday admitting to the congregation that they are “tipping in the till” but telling their gullible subjects to keep filling the collect basket so they can maintain their lifestyles. It is a mortal sin.

In this life people should be judged by their actions and what regard they have for their fellowman. The continued outlandish misbehavior of this administration personal spending habits are totally unacceptable. Their actions speak for them-self.

What can be and will be done about it? At this point,nothing unfortunately.

Every four years the citizens of this country are given the opportunity to make their check mark and chose who they want in the driver’s seat for the next four years. Obama not only deceived the country the first election in 2008 but manipulated his way into a second term because of the ignorance of the majority of voters.

There used to be a show on television called “You asked for it”! WELL.

I am very curious to see who is going to take the rap at the end of this term.

The term that one of our greatest presidents Harry Truman used “The buck stops here” certainly doesn’t apply to this administration.
