The Oddo Commission

Sent to me by the Oddo commission:

I always knew that these people were set for life but it is black and gold it really brings it home, like a punch in the gut.

I may stretch my total convictions over this one and say that “MAYBE” the presidents should get a paycheck for life; I said “MAYBE” but for these other professional politicians to live in a life of luxury the rest of their lives is totally unconscionable.

Here is a little out information to frost your tomatoes.

The Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court earned an annual salary of $223,500 as of May 2010. The court’s eight associate justices averaged $213,900. These are jobs are awarded to the judges for life.

How would you like a job where you were able to vote in your own pay raises? You cannot “beat that with a stick”.

It is no wonder that politicians will spend 8 billion dollars of some else’s money to get a 450,000.00 a year job.

When the phrase was coined that “God helps those who help themselves” I am sure this is not what the Big Guy had in mind.

Does this old say fit any of the above???

Worth one’s salt

Meaning

To be effective and efficient; deserving of one’s pay.
