Ex-Senator Admits To Fathering Love Child With Daughter of GOP Colleague:

Skeletons in the closet never disappear or go away; sooner or later they come back to bite us in our posteriors.

It seems that the former senator from New Mexico Sen. Pete Domenici was tiptoeing through the tulips many years ago and as a result fathered a child with his furtive fidanzata.

In today’s liberal society that isn’t really a big problem but way back when it could have meant disaster for the politician.

To make matters even worse, the lady he fathered the child with was a 24 year old girl and was the daughter of Paul Laxalt of a fellow senator and the former governor of Nevada who was a very close friend of the horney old senators. I have no idea if they severed ties after the bambina was born?

In a statement Domenici made he said; “I deeply regret this and am very sorry for my behavior,” “I hope New Mexicans will view that my accomplishments for my beloved state outweigh my personal transgression.”  The old boy is very lucky that he had a lady with tight lips or his carrier would have gone up in smoke years ago.

Michelle Laxalt the mother of the child said ,”Given the fact that both my father and the father of my child were United States senators, I felt strongly that I would make this choice according to my values and would not seek advice, input or permission.” Michelle explaining her decision to raise her son as a single mother was decided strictly to keep the matter secret. I am sure that her father being a senator had a lot to do with her decision.

Where I was born and raised; under the same circumstances, at the least this guy would have gotten a severe beating he would never forget.  When a person forgoes their self-respect for the sake of a dollar; I don’t consider them much of a person.

The senator must have been one prolific dude in his heyday; he fathered 8 kids with his legal lady. Domenici, now 80, retired from the Senate in 2008 after 36 years in office.

It makes for a good story to tell your grand-kids.
Italian Media Tells Story of “Underground Gay Network” at the Vatican:

It was my opinion from the beginning, when the pope made the announcement to retire there was more to his story than the ex-member of the Hitler’s youth group was admitting.

With the pedophile sex scandal that rocker the Catholic Church that he deliberately helped cover up, along with some sordid tales from the past and present they were getting too much for the pontiff to cope with.

He can’t take the heat so he is getting out of the kitchen. He is the first pope to resign his post in 600 years.

To add some benzine to the fire, there is a secret 300-page dossier compiled by three cardinals of incriminating evidence that surfaced stating that the pope taped to look into last year’s leak of confidential papers.  They were stolen from his desk recently.

As well as these files, there are documents known as the “VatiLeaks,” raised questions of financial impropriety and corruption at the Vatican.

The secret dossier allegedly details a wide range of infighting among various factions in the Vatican’s governing body, known as the Curia. To make matters worse the La Repubblica an Italian newspaper expressed some concerns of the existence of one faction in particular, a network of gay church officials. Is there ever going to be an end to the Catholic Church’s dirty laundry?

In order to suppress some of this crippling information there were people out there ready to make a few Euro and threatened the Vatican with blackmailed.

I won’t be surprised if the pope let his butler Paolo Gabriele off the hook to keep him quiet. Paolo was given an early release from prison from the pope recently.

As the tales unfold it seems that the pope made his announcement to retire the same day he read the incriminating evidence that was looming in the shadows.

La Repubblica, which has the largest circulation among Italy’s general-interest dailies, promised that today’s report would be the first of a series on the topic, so it would appear as though there will be more mud to sling in the near future.

The cardinals were said to have uncovered an underground gay network, whose members organize sexual meetings in several venues in Rome and Vatican City, leaving them prone to blackmail.

The newspaper said Benedict would personally hand the confidential files to his successor, with the hope he will be “strong, young and holy” enough to take the necessary action.

It is a sacrilege that this most holy institution has evolved into what it has. If  the “powers to be” would have addressed these issues with honesty as they arose there would not have been the backlash like we see today.

It surprises me that these very holy people don’t know what the 11th commandment is          “thou shalt not lie”.
