We used to have a saying in the Marine Corps; “don’t bunch up, one grenade will get you all”!

The aircraft carriers USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69), USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77), USS Enterprise (CVN 65), USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75), and USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) are in port at Naval Station Norfolk, Va. were all summonsed to Norfolk by the Obama administration for inspection.

Sources stated that this breached a long standing military protocol in the Navy meant to avoid massive enemy strike on major US forces.

All at the same time and all in the same place? Just one more brilliant move on the governments part.

This is reminiscent of one of the many gigantic blunders our government made such as the “School Busing debacle”; way back when billions of dollars were squandered by our leaders to get equality in education by busing kids hours away from from their homes.

What would have been easier and not costing a dime or maybe a few tanks of gas? Transfer the teachers to different schools or bus 100’s of thousands of students to different schools.

What would have been easier with the aircraft carriers inspections? Take all of the ships at one time to Norfolk or send the inspectors to where the ship were so there was less of a possibility of repeating Pearl Harbor.

Situations like this makes a logical person think about the possibility of these erroneous actions may be executed on purpose?

I can almost bet that this decision was not made by a military person but by one of those pencil pushers in DC.
