If there is one thing all of the politicians excel in is running their mouths and blowing hot air. They are professionals at long winded bull-shit sessions and hearing themselves talk. Extensive bull-shit sessions are politically tagged as filibusters and yesterday they had a doozy.
Filibuster
Rand Paul and several other senators had a 13 hour filibuster questioning the illegitimacy of the targeted killings by drones allowed by the Obama administration.
How many different ways can a person ask the same question and elaborate on the same issue? The senators particularize for 13 hours on the same subject and came away with air.
I wonder how many of their colleagues fell asleep or walked out on their extensive performance?
The way our representatives behave or misbehave, one might think that all of the people in the senate, congress and the administration are working toward completely different goals and not for a common cause. They all should go back to the second grade and learn what the word co-operation means.
They are reminiscent of a couple that is getting divorced and are doing everything they can to put the screws to the other person.
With the more lack of cooperation and all of the innuendos that exists between the parties and the administration, there will never be anything in DC that will be resolved. In four years they will still be haggling over the same issues.
Just like many other social issues in this country, government keeps
drifting further and further apart.
They all act like children; maybe they show be spanked like children.
