Dozens of WH senior staffers are still making six-figure salaries amid sequester woes:

There is no shame in DC.

After the all the hype about the sequester and the lack of funds, the White House, meaning the Obama crew, has kept on some staffers that Obama must view critical to the security of our country.

Obviously in the eyes of Obama a “deputy assistant” for energy and climate change, Heather Zichal, making $140,000; a “special assistant” for energy and environment, Nathaniel Keohane; and a “deputy director” for energy and climate change, Dan Utech are crucial to the longevity of the USA.

Together, their salaries totaled over $370,000 last year, according to White House records.

Heaven forbid if the climate changes during this sequestration period; what would we do? It has only been changing for 40 million years.

I don’t know what take precedence anymore in our democratic government or is it a dictatorship?

It may just be my ignorance of government but in such times I would think that all non-essential personal would be laid off until the books were balanced?
