Life on Mars? Rover shows it could have been possible:
AND?????
An announcement at the NASA headquarters shows the rover’s analysis of powder drilled from bedrock on Mars MAY be an indicator that some primitive could have existed there at one time. That is a big MAY!
The cost of this unimportant revolution to the USA’s taxpayers was $2.5 billion they cannot afford; again.
Unless one of these extra-terrestrial expeditions could bring back a cure for cancer or some other monumental discovery, I don’t see the point of squandering all of that money.

Jul 30, 2008 – The total amount spent on NASA since its inception in 1958 is $592 billion.
All I can remember that NASA has achieved in all of their outer space missions was bringing back a few rocks.
What difference does it make if there was some sort of life on Mars 30 million years ago??
We have more pressing issues here on Mother Earth to be concerned about. I guess that decision is left up to the people holding the purse strings.
Endeavors like space exploration is something a country does when it is flush with money not when it is stone broke.
