FORT WAYNE, Ind. –  A man pulled a woman off a city bus in northern Indiana on Wednesday, fatally shot her and then took a 3-year-old boy hostage before a sniper killed him during a police standoff.

Here is a good example of a .50 bullet saving the tax-payers a lot of time, money and aggravation of running another killer through the court system and supporting them the rest of their lives with air-conditioned rooms, color TV, 3 squares a day and all the weights these iron heads can pump.

The sniper took out this nut case and save the government $50,000.00 a year, the amount it cost to house one criminal.

If someone gets sent up for life when they are 18 years old, with the life expectancy being 77 years old, it calculates that it will cost the system $2,950,000.00 by the time the lid slams in their face.

.50 verses $ 2,950,000.00 – that is a saving of $2,949,999.50. Who can argue with those numbers?
