US gives 4 more F-16 fighter jets to Egyptian government despite outcry

Do the leaders of the USA even know what the word SELL means or is their vocabulary limited to just GIVE.

Four more F-16 fighter jets left the U.S. on Thursday headed for Egypt as part of a foreign aid package that was put together in 2010 as part of a billion dollar handout when Egypt and US had a commonality and friendship going on. Now the comradery between the two countries is very tenuous.

This deal is just the tip of the iceberg. By the end of the year 8 more F-16s will be given to the Egyptian government. Just to make the package complete, so the Egyptians don’t run out of war machines, the USA is throwing in 200 Abrams tanks.

Now bear in mind, one Abrams Tank cost is about 9 million a copy and the cost of one F 16 cost over 20 million a copy. Santa Claus has come early to the Egyptian government.

How many times in our history have the recipients of our generosity/ignorance turned the weapons we gave them against us?  Too many to count.

I wonder what the people in the Middle East think of a country that squanders billions of dollars that they “do not have” and are hated by their benefactors? The USA has to be the laughing stock of the world, they think we are nuts and they are not wrong.

Most of these situations can be compared to a guy that gives all of his  ex-wife a million dollars every years; only after they  burned down his house, crashed his Rolls into a brick wall, stole all of his mulla out of his accounts and slandered his name all over the internet. What a guy. He only wants to be loved.

These commitments to Egypt were made in 2010 when the USA and Egypt were on speaking terms and had good relationships. How the playing field has changed dramatically and the rules should change as well.

Do any of Santa’s helpers in DC read the news and see how bad off the country is and those billions they are giving away can be put to good use here at home? If they do, they do not belong in public office; if they don’t they should start reading the news every day and do what is right for our country and cut out all of the Ho Ho Ho non-sense.
