This is an issue I have been advocating for years; now is the time, today not tomorrow or next week, to get all of our troops out of ALL of the foreign countries we are in and get them back home where they belong; we certainly can use them here. I don’t know how many more ways I can say it “get out”!!!

Listen to the heart wrenching speech that Greg Buckley Sr. gave about “murder” of his Marine son Greg Buckley Jr. in Afghanistan.
Greg Jr. was not shot and killed in the line of duty which would have made the circumstances a little more tolerable for his family, he was murdered by a Afghan police while he was working out in the gym. Greg was due to come home the day after he was executed.
To start with; we are in a country where we don’t belong for some very top secret monetary or political reasons, in the middle of a war zone and the Marines stationed there are not allowed to carry their loaded weapons with them while they were on base; yet the Afghan police are. I really hope that order is rescinded. Who in the name of common sense makes these decisions? That person or people should be court martialed for stupidity.
If this imbecilic request was made by the Afghan government as I am sure it was and the American high command obliged them so “they don’t get pissed off at us”, both sides should be held accountable for the Marines death. Now as always, the USA lets the people that we are dying for and being bankrupted for dictate to us as to how we protect our servicemen or fight our wars.
The Afghan slime ball of a cop killed Greg in cold blood while he was unarmed. That is how those people show their thanks.
It MAY be a different story if the people we are trying to defend and protect appreciated us being there but they are of the mindset that we invaded their county and they want us out. I have to agree with them; we should not have gone there in the first place.
As I have eluded to many times before; it must be a big money maker for a lot of big shots and their cousin corporations for us to stay in these countries against all of the opposition.
What will it take for the DC dunces to make a decision for us to pull out, completely and now? We all know that it starts at the very top.
If there can be only one reasonable explanation given why the USA refuses to pack it in and leave I would like to hear it. All of the countries are much worse off now than when we invaded them. No progress anywhere.
