Some Cleveland cops are not doing their jobs:

The outcomes of each of these situations could have been very different if the cops did their jobs correctly.

There have been several incidents in the past few years where the Cleveland “Boys in Blue” have dropped the ball and made the department look very shabby.

I have the utmost respect for all the men and women that put their lives on the line daily to serve and protect the citizens of this country. The vast majority of them go beyond the call of duty to keep us safe and secure so we can sleep at night. My hat is off to them.

One the other side of the coin, there are the cops that are there just for the ride. They don’t take their jobs seriously; some are on the pad, some are lazy, some love the power of wearing the badge and the gun and some are just there because it is a relatively easy job when the bullets are not flying.

Justice Department Launches Civil Rights Probe into Cleveland Police

A couple of months ago more than 60 patrol cars chased one car with two people in it that allegedly fired some shot out of the window in downtown Cleveland.

In the hot pursuit the gun happy cops fired 137 shots at the would-be shooters and killed the cars two occupants; no gun was found. 137 shots – someone better go back to the target range. I think this can be called overkill.

Since then most of the cops involved in the target practice drill have been put on administrative leave with full pay, spending 4 hours a day in the city’s gym and the other 4 hours at the city’s shrink.

In the aftermath of the killings, several elected officials and leaders of civil rights groups in Cleveland called for a federal investigation of the police department.

Cleveland Police Mistake Dead Body for a Deer

April 9 2010 – The City of Cleveland got a 911 call from a motorist that there was a dead body lying on the freeway on the west side of the city.

Two of Cleveland’s finest were sent out to investigate. When they got there they reported back to the dispatcher that it was a dead deer and not a dead body.

They most certainly never bothered to get out of their patrol car to get a close look.

The dead body was later identified as Angel Bradley Crockett, mother of three who had been beaten, strangled and thrown out of a car like a Mc Donald’s bag.

Missed Opportunities in Sowell Case:

March 10 2012 – there was a shocking discovery by any standard on the east side of Cleveland where the bodies of 11 women were found at a house on Cleveland’s Imperial Ave.

Prior to that date there had been numerous calls to the police department stating that there was some very unusual activity going on at that address with a lot of people going in and some not coming out; along with a stench that would knock out over an elephant.

All of these complaints went either unanswered or very little attention was paid to them.

When the cops did finally investigate they found that some sick bastard named Anthony Sowell lived in the house and had bodies stuffed, under the porch in the walls, in the basement and buried in the back yard.

These bodies are the ones that they know about. Sad to say that Sowell was a Marine and travelled extensively while in the military. It is almost a sure thing that Sowell killed many times before but they all went undetected.

Ropes, chains found where Cleveland women held:

May 6 2013 – Several neighbors said they had called police to report suspicious activity at a house in a dilapidated neighborhood on Cleveland’s West Side through the years but all of the calls went unanswered or ignored by the law.

This situation was very sad but happy and amazing at the same time.

On the day of the rescue one of the neighbors named Charles Ramsey who is the real hero in this sad story heard screaming coming from the house and saw a girl at the front window attempting to get out. He went onto the front porch and kicked in the locked door. The very emotional girl came running out and told him she was Amanda Berry and had been held captive for 10 years. Charles was dumbfounded because he recognized the name from years back.

Also found in the house was Gina De Jesus, Michelle Knight and Berry’s 6-year-old daughter she had by the rape of one of the captors.

There are three scum brothers that are being held as the captors of these girls; Ariel Castro, 52, Pedro Castro, 54, and Onil Castro, 50, who were all taken into custody a short time later.

In all of these situations there would have been a very different outcome if the Cleveland Police would have done their jobs correctly.

I am sure that the attorneys are already lining up with legal pads in hand.
