Russia Says It Would Consider Asylum For Edward Snowden:

Naive Eddy better beware of the Russians offering him asylum! As the old saying goes; “beware of Greeks that are bearing gifts”. In this case Eddy better beware of the Russians or any other country offering him asylum.

According to reports coming out of the land of “never open a bottle of vodka without finishing it”; Russia would consider granting asylum to NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden, Vladimir Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Tuesday.

After revealing his identity to the public, he said that he had sought refuge in Hong Kong, and was hoping “to seek asylum in a country with shared values.”

Snowden has not made any requests for asylum yet, but Peskov told Russian newspaper Kommersant, “If such an appeal is given, it will be considered.” They are salivating and chomping at the bit waiting to get their “Red” hands on this kid.

This young man’s intentions from the get go may have been honorable attempting to undue a wrong that was perpetrated by the government but as I see it now he is getting over his head and playing in an entirely different league.

Eddy is an amateur playing in the big league if he gets involved with Putin who at one time was the head of the KGB plus all of his years of political and spy experiences as president of Russia. Putin is one heavy hitter.

I hope the young informer does not think that Russia or any other country that would offer his asylum is doing it because he is a nice guy and they want to protect him. It would only be for all of the other information he is privy to in the USA government’s top secret archives.

This is going to turn into a runaway train for Snowden if he is not careful.  They will dispose of him KGB style as soon as his usefulness is terminated.

In Russia Eddy will be treated like a Kobe calf getting ready to go to slaughter. Wine and dine him, give him the best of whatever he wants, massage him and feed him the best beer and eventually when he is good a ripe, right to the slaughterhouse.

The best thing for Snowden to do is to come back to the USA and face the music.

Some people view him as a hero and others as a villain. This determination will not be made for quite some-time.
