Kremlin: Snowden has given up on plan to stay in Russia:
I still stand by my previous posting that “whistle blowers” are a necessity to keep corporations and the governments in check. Without them the law breakers would be running rampant if they know that “finking” on them was punishable by law.
Initially I thought that Snowden was trying to doing a public service by revealing the improprieties with the NSA but now I think the young kid has been caught in a catch 22 situation.
The notoriety got to him and all of a sudden his back is against the wall and doesn’t know which way to go. He got in way over his head.
I don’t believe for one minute that Putin does not want all of the top secret inside information this kid has. Putin statement about him not wanting the information Snowden has is ridiculous. The Russians and all of the other countries wants all the information this kid has.
Snowden has created a monster and now does not know how to deal with it.
When all of these countries are through with him and get all that he has to offer they are going to throw him out like dirty dish water.

This is one very big example of how a well-intended situation went bad.
We may as well start calling Snowdon “Phillip Knowland “The man without a country.”

During the Civil War Army lieutenant Philip Nolan, who renounces his country during a trial for treason was consequently sentenced to spend the rest of his days at sea without so much as a word of news about the United States. He was dubbed “the man without a country”.
Before the ship he was on came to port he was transferred to another ship at sea, and so on for the rest of his life.
Snowdon eventually is going to go the same route.
