Eliot Spitzer: Prostitution Industry Is Exploitative But I Could Not Control My Urges:

When it comes to making prudent remarks to gain favor with the public, for a guy that wants to get back into the political limelight, I would have to conclude that Spitzer is not a very savvy guy.

In a recent interview the former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer gave he admitted that “he simply could not control himself” when it came to hooking up with hookers.

That was not something that a person should admit to publicly; we all knew that before he said it.

The attraction had to be the money!!!

In 2008 it was uncovered that Spitzer was under the covers with a few ladies of the night and spent about $80,000.00 to satisfy his urges that “he simply could not control”; consequently he was forced to resign from office. Now he plans to run for city comptroller.

In the “old days”, anyone that crossed the line morally or by committing a civil offense better never consider running for public office. It was a time in history when the country and the world used good old time values they were brought up with that appear to be non-existent these days.

In recent years the morality of the world has gone to the dogs; the greater the offense a person commits the more popular the person becomes.

A president that cheated many times with an intern while in the White House with her under his desk and denied it to the hilt under oath, celebrities involved in killings, celebs continually going to rehab for drug abuse, politicians that steal or misuse their public office with no consequences; the list is endless.

For the most part the offenders all get away with a slap on the wrist. The term that they like to use for the persons penalty is “censured” which has little to no ramifications.

Society is trying to figure out why some of the kids today are so confused and out of control; all you have to do is look at who their role models are. Not too difficult to figure out.

If elected one thing the voters “should not” have to worry about is Spitzer taking any samples home; he is a very wealthy man thanks to his father Bernard who was a real estate tycoon.

Let face it, Eliot had to have a very healthy bank roll to spend $80,000.00 on hookers. At $10.00 a pop; he must be one hell of a stud.

  1. I agree. And who would vote for a man who spent 80k on hookers to control city finances?
