Pentagon eyes cuts in danger pay:

The Pentagon is considering a plan to eliminate “danger pay” for service members in as many as 18 countries and five waterways around the world, saving about $120 million each year while taking a cut of troops’ salaries, Fox News confirms.

This is typical SOP for the USA’s leaders; cut the benefits for the little guy while the fat cats keep getting fatter.

Did the decision makers at the Pentagon ever consider cutting their own outlandish pay checks and some of their benefits to save a few bucks?

By trying to save 120 million a year is a spit in the ocean compared to what the USA blows unnecessarily on over paid politicians that are for the most part are useless and on foreign aid they give away every year to our foreign enemies.

The list is endless of squandered money. How about cutting out some of these so called conventions that all of the governments departments throws annually, especially the IRS.

The people that deserve the extra money the most are the ones that are being penalized. They put their lives on the line every day in the defense of our country, now the big wigs want to cut their “danger pay” that they so richly deserve.

The areas in the world that the troops are getting a few extra dollars for serving in are; Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Lebanon, Pakistan, Syria, Yemen and in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula.

Take a good look at all of the countries, they are the same countries that we are giving billions each year in foreign aid and they all are enemies of the USA. Does it make sense?  Typical government mentality.

If all of the dead weight in our government was eliminated we could save trillions instead of millions.

The Pentagon honchos should be trying to figure a way to completely pull out of those “danger zones” than there would be no necessity for the extra pay. The amount of money that would be saved by pulling out would be trillions not millions.

It will all end someday with the USA making “another “strategic withdrawal”. We all know too well what that means.

Strategic withdrawal definition:

An organization or individual without an exit strategy may be in a quagmire. At worst, an exit strategy will save face; at best, an exit strategy will peg a strategic withdrawal.  This definition sounds like it fits the USA to a T.

The last couple of wars we had no business getting into our government had to leave each country with their tail between our legs. What a disgrace for a country that was at one time the powerhouse of the world.

I will always stand by two things I strongly believe in:

1. “don’t go where you don’t belong”!

2. “always take care of the person that is taking care of you”
