Mike Huckabee was on Fox News this morning and made a several comments that echo exactly what I have been saying for years; “the people in big government are not accountable to anyone and they never have any consequences connected to their blunders or illegal activities”. He must have reading The Goomba Gazette.

A slap on the wrist or a reprimand is usually the extent of their punishments, unlike any civilian that would have performed the same type of infraction; they would be do time in jail.

On another note; unfortunately nothing is ever going to change. This is a sign of the times and it is only going to get worse with all of the liberal tree-huggers we have in society and politics today. They are not in touch with reality. They can’t see the forest on account of the trees they are hugging.

As long as politicians continue to fund the social services that a sizable percentage of the US citizens receive today they will continue to get elected.

Just as a small example of how social service expenses have escalated in the past few years. Currently payments into social insurance programs represent an estimated 37 percent (or $807 billion) of federal receipts in 2011, compared to 17 percent (or $124 billion) in 1961 and 31 percent (or $455 billion) in 1981.

The United States has turned into welfare state supporting, not all but many people that deliberately do not want to work even if they were offered a job.

These are the same people (voters) that voted Obama back into office in 2012 regardless of his pathetic performance since being elected in 2008.

As long as his administration continues to fund and support these people, the liberals/democrats will have a lock on the presidency.

The Republicans better get their act  and come up with an entirely new strategy and new leadership before 2016 or the election will be a carbon copy of 2012. Bet they don’t!

In 2008 the Republican had 4 years to come up with a new face in politics, someone that would get them over the top and who was their person of choice “pistol packing Palin”. These politicians are supposed to be the cream of the crop and very educated people and that was the best they could do.

It is no wonder that so many people today are venturing into politics. Big pay, no responsibilities, huge pension, benefits galore, insider information, vote in their own raises and benefits, set their own work schedules and are not accountable for any blunders they make.

Some people say that “prostitution is the oldest occupation in the world” I say that a politician was her pimp. So you tell me who came first??
