That is high enough guys

BIGGER – TALLER – STEEPER – FASTER – WHAT IS THE LIMIT

Mom dies after falling from roller coaster at Six Flags in Texas.

ARLINGTON, Texas – A woman died Friday evening in an accident while riding the Texas Giant roller coaster at a Six Flags amusement park in North Texas, authorities said.

SANDUSKY, Ohio – A boat on a thrill ride at an amusement park that bills itself as the best in the world accidentally rolled backward down a hill and flipped over in water when the ride malfunctioned Friday, injuring all seven people on it.

In two separate accidents, in two separate states, one woman was killed and several when thrill seekers were injured while tempting the devil by riding these extreme and dangerous rides.

The amusement industry isn’t any different than any other business always trying to out-due the competition but many times when they are pushing the boundaries as now,  it back fires on them.

I have often wondered just how often these rides had safety inspections? Not often enough.

As long as people keep paying to ride these dangerous rides the amusement industry will keep building them bigger, faster, taller and steeper.

I know what the people in the industry will say “the rides are very safe and only malfunction on rare occasions”.

That is all well and good but I don’t want to be the one that it happens to on “rare occasions”. I will watch from the ground level, thank you.
