Bunning for banning: Hall of Famer, ex-GOP senator says A-Rod should be done:

If he was banned for life the way playboy A-Rod pisses away his money, in two years he would have to get a job slinging burgers at Burger King to make ends meet.

If Jim Bunning, the Hall of Fame pitcher who went on to represent Kentucky in the U.S. Senate, was running Major League Baseball, Alex Rodriguez would be benched for life.

There should be more people like Bunning sitting on the governing board holding the gavel and give these primadonna sports figures exactly what they have coming; nothing.

It isn’t bad enough that they broke every rule in the book while other players walked the straight and narrow; on top of it when they were all caught lying through their teeth.

There hasn’t been one of the sports figures that have been accused of doping that were found to be falsely accused. That in itself deserves a more severe penalty.
